Reviews

This rich and diverse collection of sermons serves as a source of inspiration for devotional readings as well as a model of faithful proclamation. Readers will benefit greatly from Taylor's theological insight and literary skill that allow lectionary texts to come to life in thoughtful ways. --Paul Galbreath, Professor of Theology, Union Presbyterian Seminary, Charlotte, NC This book of sermons preached by a pastor to his congregation provides creative insights for those who closely listen for new voices to bring old stories to life. Taylor is a scholar and storyteller; he is attentive to his context and wise enough to see the universal applications of well-worn lessons. This eloquent gift is for preachers and those who are eager to discover new treasure in well plowed fields! --Gregg A. Mast, President Emeritus, New Brunswick Theological Seminary
