Corradi is Professor Emeritus of Sociology at New York University. He is also Chairman Emeritus of the Seamanship Committee at the New York Yacht Club. Juan is a well-loved character in sailing circles, and continues to be a prominent winning sailor and regatta organizer in New England. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, he aspired in his younger years to become the ideal Argentine: an Italian who speaks Spanish, dresses like an Englishman, and lives in Paris.
