Reviews

"""This book is the first I'm aware of that tells it like it is, upending every idealistic preconception that people tend to have about law school and the legal profession. ... Anyone thinking of going to law school owes it to themselves to read this book first!"" ""The book is more than just insight into law school and law careers: the second half covers exercises in figuring out your passions and skill sets, and applying that to plans of action to learn more about potential career paths. Applicable and sage advice for any area, not just law, and any stage of your life, not just fresh out of school."" ""As someone who is not a lawyer and knows basically nothing about lawyering, I found this book an easy read, with clear explanations, and helpful analogies."" ""Most books aimed at the pre-law students and those considering law school focus on getting in to law school.... Not so with Rachel Wickenheiser's 'The Truth About Law School, ' which centers around the choice to attend law school: is it the right fit for your goals and aspirations and is it the right fit for you as a person and your well-being?"" ""A pretty fast read, and very valuable for those considering law and I would even say those who've already gone through law but aren't quite sure about the career."""
