Overview

Following a series of dramatic dreams and visions, Dylan finds himself propelled into a personal quest for the Holy Grail spanning several decades. He is spurred on by recollections of his past life as Maelgwn Gwynedd, who fought alongside King Arthur and Uther Pendragon during their battles against the Saxons in the 6th century. This war was sanctioned by the Roman Church, who were determined to eradicate the threat posed to their hegemony by the Celtic Church, whose fusion of Gnostic and Druidic beliefs had created a mystery religion revealing man's true purpose on earth. Dylan's quest reunites him with a reincarnated Arthur and Uther, who have returned as spiritual warriors to aid in the transition to a Golden Age of justice, peace and love. His challenging journey leads to the unravelling of the mysterious 6th-century 'Melkin Prophecy', which describes in obscure Latin the location of the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea where, legend has it, the Holy Grail is also to be found. Deciphering the Prophecy through otherworldly revelations leads Dylan to the heartland of the original Avalon in the ancient Welsh kingdom of Siluria, whose connection to Joseph and his followers has long been overlooked. Assisted by his Grail Maiden companion, they discover a ruined chapel hidden amongst trees on a rocky tor overlooking a river close to the sea. What follows is the unfolding of the earth-shattering mystery of the Holy Grail, an enigma which has baffled Grail seekers for centuries. The novel is based on the author's real life experiences. Although certain names have been changed and scenarios condensed for dramatic effect, it is nevertheless an accurate portrayal of events.

Author Information

The author is a sculptor and writer living in South Wales. He has a passion for history and is a keen amateur archaeologist. He is a great believer in how we can truly connect with the natural landscape to reveal its secrets. Shamans do this whenever a cure is needed, and Carlos Castaneda was well known for using this method of communing with the plant world. He also has a love and talent for creating gardens that reveal a spiritual connection to nature using rock, water and varied plant life to reflect the Welsh landscape. Dreams have always played an important part in his life, not only in helping to reveal our true selves but also in connecting us with the divine aspect of the inner spirit. The answer to our problems is already inside us in our dreams. Dreams are free downloads, often from other dimensions. So who needs AI when we are already light years ahead? Alec recommends we return to the natural world and our ancestral roots and listen our inner voice. He believes that we should sing and dance more, to celebrate life as nature intended.
