OverviewThis is the tale of two scribes, Chemil and Mordichai, who co-operated together in the final version of the fifth book of Deuteronomy. A severe hatred grew between them and, coincidentally, they both decided to write the sixth book of the Holy Bible. However there could only be one book of this nature, not two, which disturbed Mordichai greatly and they went their own ways to undertake the research required. However Mordichai was evil and he devised a number of ways to force his adversary to cease work on the project. Chemil decided to begin at the story of the battle of Jericho. He managed to track down Rahab, the prostitute who helped the two Israelite spies who had come to find information before the rest of their forces attacked the city. She saved them from an ensuing mob who were searching for them on the promise that the lives of herself and her family would be spared when the Israelites attacked the city. Mordichai focussed on the entry of the Israelites into the Promised Land. They had been wandering in the desert for forty years yet they were stumped as to how to cross the river Jordan with its deep and fast flowing water. They looked to their leader, Hoshe'a who claimed that he was in direct communication with Jehovah. As they completed each section of their research, the two scribes wrote down their findings on blank scrolls. Chemil continued with the strange events in the battles of the city of Ai; Mordichai concentrated on the division of the territory of Canaan among the twelve tribes of Israel. And then there were the kings of the north assembling to fight the Israelite army to be researched. The book contain subjective discussion of the events that occurred plus some contentious arguments which emerge and clarifies some tales which occur in the Holy Bible.
