OverviewThe Superheadz Golden Half is a relatively little known small camera, supposedly the smallest 35mm camera in the world. It takes pictures in half-format, looks less shabbily finished than many other plastic cameras and, above all, is reliable. It has a flash contact, is effortlessly always with you, and invites pleasurable aesthetic games. Enclosed is a selection of pictures taken alongside the serious Leica photographs on a walk through the abandoned Beelitz Heilstätten many years ago. Those who find the images somber are undoubtedly correct in this impression. This catalog immortalizes an analog installation that we showed on a farm in North Friesland in August 2021 and that existed for exactly one day. Afterwards, the photographs were given away to interested parties and thus released into the world.
