Overview

Our ancestors were given sacred, magickal gifts and knowledge from the creators. These gifts and knowledge were passed from generation to generation as part of the ancestral inheritance. They were available to all, but resonated stronger with the few that could discern and understand their deeper meanings. The Elder Futhark is the oldest form of the runic alphabet used by Northwest Germanic tribes during the Migration period. Germanic Runic inscriptions from the 2nd to 8th centuries are found on artifacts such as jewelry, amulets, tools, weapons and stones. The Runes are used to understand and shape one's environment, pronounce and execute judgements, and project the will. The vibrational energies of the Runes combine with the circuits in the soul and body creating powerful projections of energies. There are three components to a Rune; the SHAPE, the NAME, and the VIBRATION of the name. Many times the name and vibration sound different. The shape of the Rune, as with all things, projects vibrational energies. This aspect can be discovered through reflective study. This work explores all three aspects. The last section of the book explores Bind Runes; their use and composition. Several examples are covered from my own workings and books. This work provides insights to the knowledge, gifts, and powers our ancestors embraced.
