She is the author of Mobile Citizenship, co-author of Transnational Migration, and a co-editor of Migrations and Border Processes: Practices and Politics of Belonging and Exclusion in Europe from the 19th to the 21st Century, a special issue of the Journal of Borderlands Studies. Xóchitl Bada is an associate professor of Latin American and Latino Studies at the University of Illinois Chicago, USA.
