Author Information

TOM FERRATT is professor emeritus at the University of Dayton. He is a nationally recognized academic, researcher, and consultant. He has written extensively in leading journals on a variety of IT-related topics. He holds a doctorate from Ohio State University. Tom first worked with Jerry as a vis-iting scholar at the University of Southern California. JERRY POWER is the executive director of the Institute for Communications Technology Management, assistant professor of clinical marketing at the University of Southern California, and a founding member of the I3 consortium. Prior to USC, Jerry worked more than thirty years for Alcatel-Lucent and Siemens. Jeff Hoyt has spent over twenty years working as a voiceover artist. In addition to that work, he writes a column for an alternative northwest newspaper, performs the occasional commentary for NPR, hosts a semi-regular Internet radio show and podcast, and assists Vashon Island's all-volunteer radio station in its quest for an over-the-air FCC license.
