Overview

The Practical Pilot delivers an easy-to-read, common sense guide for pilots that goes beyond the classroom. Experience is a valued commodity for every pilot and can only come with time. Within these pages, the author shares the lessons he has learned from more than 20,000 hours of flying and from listening to others in cockpits and dusty hangars alike. With topics ranging from flying the approach and landing to diverting in flight, passing check rides and so much more, this book has become a global best-seller. Whether you are yearning to fly, learning to fly or revisiting lessons from long ago, The Practical Pilot offers something for every pilot.
