Overview"Everyone on earth regardless of his or her status, race, colour or religious affiliation has a spot of 'but' in their lives. Even Lion, the king of the jungle is battling with flies over his tail. The knowledge of this life fundamental truth cannot be over emphasized. It helps us to appreciate life and that no one's life is absolutely better than the other. You may be asking why I am sounding like this. After all, do I know if you have some bills that are on your neck right now, that if you don't pay it, your debtors will roast you to death? And as many problems you could think of. Alas! I may not know what you are going through right now, but I want you to have this confidence that no matter how bad your own problems might be, I tell you, you will be amazed that such problems didn't exist just because of you. There are people who have experienced similar or even more severe situations than yours. Little wonder, the Bible admonishes us that ""No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."" 1 Corinthians 10: 13 ( ESV) However, what would really define you is how you were able to 'grow' through that situation. Zig Ziggler said, 'Tough times don't last, but tough people do!'. Unfortunately, some people have buried their spiritual, mental and physical capabilities on the altar of the lemons life has brought to them. In the Power of But, your mind would be ignited with enormous inspirations, positive behavioural abilities and principles that would equip you to turn your lemons into lemonade. And I tell you, the more you strive to address the issues of 'but' in your life, the greater you become a master of yourself. Fred was curious at seeing 'But why' that was written behind Ude's tricycle and wanted to know why. Ude narrated his ordeal and the eventual summation of life issues with 'but'. His discussion with Ude led Fred to meet with Ude's mentor, Mr Chike who then taught them about the wisdom of the serpent with the principle he called PHCF. In his observation, he found out wisdom he thinks people need to learn from the serpent; even though it was responsible for the downfall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The serpent does not popularize itself nor hurry over something yet, it is very careful and focused in its dealings. That's why it could be described as one of the scariest reptiles. After exposing this wisdom thought to Ude and Fred, they were pleased and accompanied Chike on his visit to Mr Uza. Mr Uza taught them two basic principles he captioned AWAD and TWIST. The 'A' in the AWAD means Avoid worry, 'W' means Wishes, 'A' means Attitude and 'D"" means Diligence. As for the TWIST, the 'T' means Trust, 'W' means weaknesses, 'I' means Integrity, 'S' means Solitary and 'T' means Thanks. These were the lessons Mr. Uza learnt when he had serious illness that made him to lose his teaching job that tied his mindset with wages and salary. Thereafter, he discovered that there are many things he could do to live the happy life he has been dreaming of. And he didn't let that situation define him regardless of his age, he made a beautiful ending. Fred was inspired by how Ude, Chike and Ude turned their difficult times into opportunities to grow. He then decided that he would apply these principle to better his own life" Full Product DetailsAuthor: Obinna OkechukwuPublisher: Independently Published Imprint: Independently Published Dimensions: Width: 12.70cm , Height: 1.50cm , Length: 20.30cm Weight: 0.281kg ISBN: 9798392074471Pages: 258 Publication Date: 05 May 2023 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: In stock We have confirmation that this item is in stock with the supplier.
