Author Information

Matthew Cordrell enjoyed two years of Spanish in high school, where he studied basic vocabulary, sentence structure, and verb conjugation. His very first lesson: ordering lemonade. iUna limonada, por favor! Other books he has illustrated include Toby and the Snowflakes, The Gorillas of Gill Park, and Righty and Lefty. Jay M. Harris somehow ended up with a tongue and heart that are pure Spanish. He loves the Spanish language and says he couldn't survive without Mexican food--the more caliente, the better. He lives with his wife in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
