Author Information

Christine Machlin is an author of Judaic Studies with a Bachelors Degree in Journalism from California State University, Northridge. Her journey to the Torah began upon graduating from college, when she decided to convert to Judaism. Her desire to learn as much as she can about Judaism is what lead to her discovering the Adult B'nai Mitzvah program. As an unofficial tutor at her synagogue, Christine dedicates her free time to encourage others to conquer their fears and uncertainty about learning Hebrew later in life by motivating them to stick it through to the very end. She is not just a one-book author. Her love of all things Judaism and inspiring others continues in a second book, Catholic to Convert aimed to break down the walls of uncertainty about conversion by guiding the reader through fundamental self-reflections on who they are as a religious or spiritual person and who they would like to become.
