Myrna is on a mission to enlighten and empower children. Having spent over thirty years in human resources and leadership positions, Myrna jokes she is a recovering evil HR Director/Vice President. Letting go of her SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications, she's moved from working with adults to inspiring children. Myrna launched The Mind Heroes movement and book series to help children-our future leaders-tap into the power of their mind. She is dedicated to writing stories that inspire good character and equip children with the knowledge and wisdom to handle common day issues all through the power of their own mind. Her dream and vision is for all children to discover their own inner wisdom. For them to proudly stand up and say, I am the hero of my mind. As a former VP of Human Resources for a $100 million subsidiary of a $1 billion publicly held company, she understands what it takes to be a happy and successful employee and leader. Seeing the positive outcomes of honesty and integrity in the workplace and the negative affects when it was lacking - she vowed to help create future leaders who could elevate humanity to a place of unconditional love, acceptance and empowerment. Throughout her extensive career, Myrna conducted training on numerous topics including employee engagement, stress control, emotional intelligence, teamwork, leadership, Balanced Scorecard, Open Book Management, sales and customer service. As an Associate Producer of Three Feet from Gold (a movie commissioned by the Napoleon Hill Foundation as a follow up to the classic book Think and Grow Rich), along with what is happening in the world, she saw a gap in our moral network. She left her career in Human Resources to create The Mind Heroes movement.
