He has written four books on the martial arts and martial traditions, including Nei Kung and The Magus of Java under the pen name Kosta Danaos. Nektarios Lykiardopoulos has a degree in physical therapy and is certified as an instructor in a number of martial arts practices. He began study-ing martial arts and combat sports in 1983 and has been a member of the Technical Committee of the Hellenic Pankration Federation since 1999. Both authors live in Athens, Greece.
