Overview

Young women on the border between Vietnam and China find themselves caught between a violent custom and a vicious criminal underworld... The multi-award-winning documentary 'Sisters for Sale' is an incredible true story of hope, courage, and freedom. This book recounts the thrilling climax of Ben's search. An Australian filmmaker struggles to find his kidnapped friends May and Pang in the immensity of China, where they have been forced as teens into marriage and motherhood with local men. With a near-impossible time limit and his two-man team rapidly falling apart, he discovers a strange web of hidden connections leading all the way back to May's own family in Vietnam. This edition includes a message by 'X', the anonymous, heroic rescue worker from Blue Dragon Children's Foundation. All sales help fund the fight against human trafficking.
