OverviewThe Little Green Dot is a book about a little green dot that wants to be another color. She thinks that she is not very important because she can only be green. After she thinks about all of her friends that are other colors and what they do, she decides that she is perfect just the way she is. She learns to accept herself and others for what they are. She invites her friends to a party. Everyone has fun together and while they are playing a game they discover an amazing thing. The book is written to introduce and explore the psychology of colors and how they affect us. Each color is introduced in a fun and playful way. Every color is important in its own way just as every individual is. My hope is that this book teaches everyone that they are important just as they are and that it will teach children to be proud of their self.
