Later he teamed up with instrumentalist Nick Strutt, and ended the decade as a solo singer-songwriter, with five albums for Transatlantic Records under his belt. In 1989, after a spell as one half of performance duo The Beasties, he moved to the Highlands of Scotland where he now lives, working as a storyteller, writer and musician.
