My name is Tamara M. Peacock. I am from Ohio ( born and raised). I am a 51 year old embracing my journey and nurturing all them parts is me. I have been fortunate to have many life changing experiences and opportunities in my life. I have earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology w/Criminal Justice Emphasis; a Master's degree in Psychology; and a Bachelor's plus in Special Education. Most of my career has been spent in education and social services. I have also be in the hospitality and service industry for many years. I have wanted to be a writer for the past 30 years or more. At age 50, I published my first book. I did a 21 day writing challenge and submitted poems. With the help/support of 12 step recover programs, I figured out that to be a writer all I had to do was pick up a pen and tell my story. That is exactly what I have done. Everything that has happened in my life has led me to this point in my life. I am a human who has struggled, suffered, and endured. I feel that I am relatable to many people. I hope these personal writings can inspire and help another person on their travels. Thank you for being part of my path and sharing my love. It is my pleasure to share parts of me and to show that my past does not mean the present and future won't be bright. My life is full of blessings and I have such gratitude.
