Healthy, safe, vibrant communities have at their core leaders and stakeholders who believe in and work together to affect positive change. The Journey of Collective Impact provides practical approaches and resources to advance collective impact, and explores new thinking about its application. Community leaders and practitioners of collective impact will find ways to: - Explore the core conditions of Collective Impact, including developing a common agenda, shared measurement, accessing mutually reinforcing activities, continuous communications and backbone infrastructure - Apply the Collective Impact framework - Take Collective Impact to the next level Community leaders will find a framework for community change in a broad range of issues including poverty reduction, homelessness, health and wellbeing, and the environment. Liz is passionate about the power and potential of communities getting to impact on complex issues. Liz is Tamarack's Co-CEO and leads Tamarack's Learning Centre. In this role she provides strategic direction to both the Learning Centre and Tamarack while also advancing collaborative leadership, collective impact skills and strategies in communities across Canada, the US and Internationally. Liz is one of Tamarack's highly regarded trainers and has developed and delivered curriculum on a variety of workshop topics including collaborative governance, leadership, collective impact, community innovation, and influencing policy change. Liz has been a community changemaker her entire career and prior to joining Tamarack, provided leadership to the Hamilton Roundtable for Poverty Reduction, YWCA Hamilton, Volunteer Hamilton and Volunteer Canada. She is inspired by the change she sees when good people collaborate to tackle tough problems.
