Overview

Rabbi Shlomo Katz is nearly 2,000 years old, and he's seen it all, due in no small part to a mysterious book of Kabbalah that endows him with special abilities. A part-time superhero, the cape community knows Shlomo as Mister Mystic, but on Sept. 11, 2001 his powers just aren't enough. Two of Rabbi Katz's congregants die in the Islamic terror attacks on the World Trade Center, which finally pushes the ancient Jew to cry out. Rabbi Katz embarks on a controversial speaking tour, in which he presents his unique take on anti-Semitism and Islam. His personal experiences touch some, but his presentations anger many and set the rabbi and Islam on a collision course. On the hero front, entropic humans continue to be born, and Rabbi Katz understands their true nature. A group of powerful children emerge, and one of them is a young Afghani whose family was killed in a U.S. airstrike. Mister Mystic can see the dominos falling, but can he save New York from the most powerful terror attack of all-time?
