Born in 1968, Steen Langstrup started out as a cartoonist in the early nineties, writing and drawing cartoons for several magazines in Copenhagen. In 1995, he debuted as an author with two novels, one of them later filmed, and went on to publish books in different genres, always aiming to do things a little different. Steen Langstrup lives in Copenhagen, Denmark, with his wife and two kids. He has had several works translated and published in foreign languages. His books have been filmed and made into radio plays.
