Dr. Jane Walton is a retired advanced-practice nurse. She has a Ph.D. with a focus on research and human development. A former assistant professor of nursing, she has written numerous professional publications. However, this is her first foray into writing a children's story. Her hope for this book is that it is fun for children to read and for those who love to read to children.Illustrator Matt Walton's background is full of rich creative experiences. He began his career as an illustrator and character animator at Walt Disney. As a young designer he became enthralled with technology and quickly became influenced by its sheer breadth of capability and the richness of experience and possibility. After 32 years of working in the tech industry as a foremost product designer and strategist, his traditional painting and drawing skills called him to return to his roots. Matt lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, three adult children and two dogs.
