Reviews

The writers are phenomenal and brave for sharing their life stories. Thank you. - Lucy K The Hands They Were Dealt is a profound exploration of trauma, offering both solace and guidance through personal stories and empathetic insights. Through its gentle wisdom and practical exercises, this book empowers readers to forge meaningful connections and embark on a journey of healing and resilience. - Jane M I haven't read a book in years, outside of children's books. Between kids, housework and other tasks that comes with daily life, I read almost half of this book in one day (slow reader here). In all honesty I had a goal to finish it, I didn't wish to put it down. While I personally have not been through all these amazing people have, each chapter I've found something that resonates with me, makes me take pause.....how am I living? This is must read. The pictures and words are raw, inspiring and took courage many of us are still digging deep to find. I know we are in a technology based world, but this one should be owned to physically hold. - JEC
