Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationDr Obinna Ekwunife is trained as a clinical pharmacist with a combined teaching, research and practice experience of over 10 years. He was formerly the supervising pharmacist of Mopheth Pharmacy (one of the biggest pharmacy chain in Nigeria). He is currently a teaching staff of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria. He is also a team member of the Collaborative Research Group for Evidence-based Public Health attached to Liebniz-Institute for Preventive Research and Epidemiology, Bremen, Germany. His research focuses on optimal use of medications in different disease conditions using pharmacoeconomics, pharmacoepidemiology and evidence based methods. He is also interested in implementation and outcomes research. He has over 30 publications in international scientific journals and is member of a number of scientific organisations including International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE) and African Research Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases (ARNTD).
