Excerpt from The Foraminifera of the Atlantic Ocean, Vol. 6: Miliolidae, Ophthalmidhdae and Fischerinidae The Classification of the Foraminifera here adopted is that which I have recently published.1 In brief outline the early parts of the Atlantic Foraminifera Bulletin 104, United States National Museum, parts 1-5 are here reviewed and the position of the various genera and sometimes species is indicated in the new classification. In this way the earlier portions may be brought into line with the later ones by the student using them. Only those genera are mentioned whose species are included in the Atlantic work.
