Overview'The Fall of Sullen Heights' is the sequel novel to 'Sullen Heights' and continues to follow the lives of those connected to the homeless shelter. Helena receives terrible news regarding the fate of the charity, and that Sullen Heights will need to close its doors for good. In one fell swoop Helena's career, home and all she cared about is coming to an end. The residents and staff of Sullen Heights needed to be informed that the charity was closing forever, and that meant new change for all involved. Where to go? What to do? And who to turn to? Helena now finds herself in the same position as the homeless residents she had given her life too for so long, and becomes reliant on friends to take her in. With important chapters of her life closing, Helena seeks a new project and hopes to stay in the same line of work she has always known. She could always apply to 'Grimshaw house', another homeless shelter, only its appalling reputation has left Helena wondering if it may be too much of challenge. Surely if anyone can change the place, Helena can?
