OverviewOne aspect of the Christmas Tree Sails propulsion involves forwardly incident gluon beams for which the gluons upon closing in on the spacecraft produce a sudden pulling effect on the spacecraft much as an electron will be suddenly pulled into a highly positively charged ionic atoms upon close approach to the atom.
