Reviews

Authored by a virtual Who's Who of Florida ecological research The editors are commended for taking an even-handed approach In short, this is an extremely useful book. It doesn't have all the answers, but it shows where we should go to try to find them. Everyone involved inFlorida coral reef research needs a copy--and that would be the minimum target audience. Although the price seems high, it is in fact a good value. I recommend it highly. Michael Risk in Limnology and Oceanography there are manyexcellent papers on topics ranging from recent changes in seagrass distribution to remote sensing of algal blooms to the potential impact of the Everglades on the accumulation of greenhouse gases.
