Maj Gen AK Chaturvedi, AVSM, VSM, is the Vice Chairman of STRIVE. An alumnus of CDM and NDC, he after a distinguished career in the Army, has devoted himself to analysis. His areas of interests are Non-traditional threats to National security. He is a prolific author and has a number of books to his credit. He can be contacted on ajay_bengalspr@yahoo.co.in Maj Gen Harsha Kakar was commissioned into the Regiment of Artillery in Jun 79 and superannuated in Mar 15. An alumnus of the NDA, he is a graduate of the DSSC, LDMC and the National Securities Studies Course at the Canadian Forces College, Toronto. Lt Gen Dushyant Singh, PVSM, AVSM (Retd) was commissioned into the NINTH BN OF THE MARATHA LIGHT INFANTRY REGIMENT in Dec 81. An alumnus of NDC, CDM, DSSC, and Naval Post Graduate School California, USA. He has attended the Regional Defence Counter Terrorism Programme with specialisation in Terrorist Operations and Financing in US. He has been a military observer in the UN and has served as IG (Ops) NSG, Chief of Staff, Eastern Command. He commanded a Corps and thereafter headed the Army War College. A prolific writer, he is currently Professor Emeritus at Rashtriya Raksha University and a Founding Member of STRIVE India.
