Overview

"This book is a treat for the mind, emotions and spirit! It brings a wealth of experience and understanding that is required for the healing of the whole person. It is a blend of technical knowledge, spiritual power and an exciting series of personal experiences in the field of soul healing. It is essential for those who want to understand how the human heart is healed after being hurt or devastated. Pastors will find this book ""must reading"" to assist them in understanding and shepherding their flocks. Professors can use this book to add a dimension to their students' education that they could never find anywhere else. The Author deals with an extensive range of issues including; communication problems, personality disorders, psychoses, neurosis, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, abortion guilt, satanic ritual abuse, and many other issues. Also, the book draws on many sources, which are documented, not the least of which is the Bible. Jesus and the Holy Spirit working with the counselor are the main sources of power for the inner healing of the wounded lambs who come for healing. As such, the Author has headed a ministry entitled ""Wounded Lamb Ministries"" which seeks to mentor others who feel the calling to minister to the ""walking wounded."""

Author Information

"Judith Giesing has served the body of Christ in the Spirit-anointed counseling ministry since 1975. Through her ministry, the Holy Spirit has touched and healed the hidden wounds and scars of many hearts, even those of memories that had been buried since childhood. Her credentials include a M.S. in Pastoral Counseling and a M.A. in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling. Judith is director of Wounded Lamb Ministries, a ministry dedicated to training Christian laymen to bind up the broken-hearted and set the captives free. The need for trained, anointed, Spirit-led counselors far exceeds the supply. Thus, she is eager and excited to share the wisdom and insight which the Spirit has given her during many years of experience and training. Her heart's desire is to pass down her ""mantle"" to those whom God has called to minister to the emotionally wounded, lame, and outcast ""lambs"" in the body of Christ."
