Reviews

An interwoven masterpiece seamlessly portraying Stephen's truth, both past and present. Stories and poetic stanzas are either filled with witty humour or an air of melancholy that completely pulls you into his unique writing style. - Ange Bartlett (Author representative) The 'Drawer of Memories' is a particular favourite; meticulously descriptive, prompting readers to reminisce about the special treasures in their own lives.' - Kirra Galway (Literary Agent) Stephen Phillips is a breath of fresh air in a murky literary world. His story writing is fluent and natural as though he is telling it to you personally. I have also really enjoyed his previous work on Forty Jobs in Forty years. -Dr. Sinclair (M.D.) Funny and new! I couldn't put it down. I have shared it with friends who agreed they enjoy reading it more than once. I have two copies in my cafe. - Katarina L.(owner of Sugar Mama's Coffee and Waffles) I love Stephen's work. It makes me laugh when I need it and he can be seriously contemplative about life as well. Highly recommend this book as it has a mixture of poetry, humour and serious story telling. Kevin McQuillan (avid reader)
