OverviewJoanne Bunting's poetry collection The Climb expresses the similarities we all experience in finding love. The happy beginnings and heartbreaking endings are all encapsulated within the poems. She uses the metaphor of climbing to demonstrate the challenge it can be to maintain love and romance, but when a couple does not give up on love, the sparks and flames can continue to grow. About the Author Poet Joanne Bunting was raised in a smaller native community in Northwest Ontario, Canada. She graduated with a degree in law enforcement in 2016. In school, writing and English were always her favorite subjects. She enjoys living life creatively by writing, acting, reading comics, and attending dance and lip-syncing contests. Bunting's poetry portrays her own experiences as she was once told, ""If poetry is made up, then it would not make sense. It's the real experiences that make a good poet."" She has learned a lot, emotionally speaking, from the love and heartaches she has had over the years and is glad to finally share her journey.
