Author Information

a professor of psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, and the medical director of the Center for Neurobehavioral Research on Addiction. Dr. Weaver has specialized in treating patients with substance use disorders for 20 years. He is on the editorial board of the Carlat Addiction Treatment Report, to which he has contributed articles and expert interviews.
