Reviews

This is an excellent read for all levels of boxers, from beginners who wish to use the regimen for getting in shape, to intermediate level boxers who want to absorb and leverage superior technique. In this sense it is a valuable reference that should be referred to throughout the athlete's improvement process. To that end, the book itself is of very high quality, manufactured as a sturdily bound paperback which will serve the purpose as a valuable reference for years. In addition to teaching proper technique, the author explains the reasons for the exercises and how they will make you a better boxer and improve your overall conditioning, functional strength, and appearance. Well-placed photos further illustrate the proper technique for each exercise. Throughout this instruction, the author is careful to explain the inherent risks in the sport, not only as a combatant, but as a non-competing athlete needing to avoid injury. These caveats are essential for any exercise and conditioning routine, but are often not included in books such as these. So, if you are a beginner who wants to get into boxing shape, or a fighter who wants to raise their game, this is an essential companion. - Mark Duda (Pulled From Amazon)
