Overview

In the 1970s, under the guidance of Jim Cameron, St Cuthberts sends a rugby team to the island of Rarotonga to play a series of friendly matches against a local school. Unfortunately, tension arises between the two teams. There is the expected sporting rivalry, but jealousy occurs as the local girls flirt with the visiting boys at the various social activities. Sergeant Alan Stone, on secondment from the New Zealand Police Force, and Jim Cameron unite when they are faced with the tragic death of a beautiful teenage girl who attends the local school and has been a guest at functions to welcome the Australian school team. Stone and Cameron are assisted by the local constabulary and the unexpected arrival of Detective Tammy Sheldon who has been sent over from New Zealand. Together they investigate Erena's suspisious death and in doing so discover the island is not quite the paradise it seems.
