Santos is associate professor of English at Texas A&M University–San Antonio. She is the author of Cicatrix Poetics, Trauma and Healing in the Literary Borderlands: Beyond Survival. Kathryn Vomero Santos is associate professor of English at Trinity University. She is the author of a forthcoming book titled Shakespeare in Tongues.
