"""...a beautifully written diary of how our lives are suddenly changed after being injured in a crash. I found myself emotionally attached to her journey as every sentence paints a vivid image in the reader's mind and I want to read it again. Whether you're on your own recovery path or supporting someone through theirs, this poetry is a beacon of hope and resilience. I would highly recommend""! -S. Dawne McKay, founder of the Crash Support Network ""The Ballad of the Bunny is an inspiring and powerful account of Catherine's challenges and triumphs as she navigates the complexities and processes of life after a serious crash. This book provides hope to many in similar situations and serves as a valuable resource for carers and services working with people in similar circumstances. Through Catherine's poetry, readers gain a profound understanding of the strength and support needed during the healing journey. Hearing Catherine read her work was a deeply moving and powerful experience, highlighting the transformative power of writing in her recovery"". -Chris Harrison, Education Manager at Amber Community: Road Incident Support & Education ""Throughout the book, [her] poems are superbly formatted in a manner that charmingly enticed me to discover what happens next. I was never disappointed. Her uncomplicated language takes us through a manifold of multilayered emotions. There are moments of touching despair that made me cry, which were pleasantly dispersed with delicate humour... Being a three-time stroke sufferer, I personally liked her poem ""Invisible"".My verdict? I cannot recommend this title highly enough. Catherine's poetic voice and narrative skill combine to transport the reader to a place beyond the spectrum of our everyday worries, doubts, and fears. -Ivor Steven, writer for Coffee House Writers Magazine and author of Tullawalla and Perceptions."
