Three naïve Italian liberals, exiled in Istanbul, have bungled their instructions to kill a Polish prince--instead, they've kidnapped him and absconded to an unused farmhouse. Author Information

Jason Goodwin is the Edgar Award-winning author of the Investigator Yashim series. The first four books-The Janissary Tree, The Snake Stone, The Bellini Card, and An Evil Eye-have been published to international acclaim. Goodwin studied Byzantine history at Cambridge and is the author of Lords of the Horizons: A History of the Ottoman Empire, among other award-winning nonfiction. He lives with his wife and children in England. Gemma Dawson is a classically trained British actress who was born and raised in London. She has narrated over sixty audiobooks and has also lent her voice to documentaries, television shows, commercials, and major motion pictures. She is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
