Overview

Uma Fernandes was a Children's Nursing Sister specialising in early childhood development in UK fully understands the non-verbal emotions and feelings that toddlers go through when a new sibling arrives. The 73 yr old Author who had been though her own personal journey of a life-long sibling rivalry is now the Granny of the 2 delightful under two siblings. They inspired her to write and share the importance of sibling's bonding with loving kindness at an early age. This is a collection of short stories about an anxious little boy who thought nobody would love him after the baby's arrival. As his story unfolds, he, at last, starts to realise that he is loved by his parents, grandparents, uncles and cousins and that it is possible for everyone to love both him and his sister. Not only does this book hold the crucial reminders for children that parents can love all their children, but as a bedtime read it is meant to remind the parents of what their children could possibly feel too. The author Uma Fernandes hopes that this book will help families worldwide with the transition from life as a single child to sibling life. She hopes to remind parents that there is much that the child will not understand as well as what fears the child may have. So, with this book she hopes to help guide parents to getting children more involved with helping with the baby and also to help inspire children to want to bond and be involved with their siblings.
