Robertson earned a First Place Purple Dragonfly Book Award for her first book - The Adventures of Abigail Rosebud and a Frog Named Stink! She has a dear appreciation for nature and a sincere love of animals! For as long as she can remember, she has loved writing and telling stories. As a teenager, Andrea took photographs and wrote stories for her high school newspaper. Those stories eventually earned her a spot in the International Journalist Honor Society - Quill & Scroll. Andrea moved on to her college radio station as a DJ and the local ABC TV affiliate as an editor. In 1992, she graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and later began work as a children's promotion producer for the Family Channel in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
