Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationSharareh Khosravani is a Cincinnati artist whose work spans large installations to interpretive work, to book illustration. Much of her work explores concepts of loss and otherness that stem from the frequently jarring experience of solo immigration in today's zeitgeist. Her work is sometimes confrontational and invites the viewer to consider the fragility and tenuousness of their own position within a broader social context. Recent works have devoted energy to interpreting the ongoing refugee crises through illustration and large-format art works. Ganesh is a founder and partner of Ganesh Raman Design Company, LLC., founded in 2013 and beginning business in 2018. Prior to launching his design career, he worked for many years as a structural engineer and draws on that rigorous technical background to inform his creative inspirations. His architectural training is from the University of Cincinnati: Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP), where he will complete his Masters in Architecture in 2020. Ganesh's artistic background is wide-ranging, crossing the boundary from visual arts, to music, to jewelry design. Kathleen is a former geologist and musician with a wide range of interests. When not writing she can frequently be found building something in her workshop or spending time on her editing and coaching businesses. She is also the co-founder of a design business where she provides business development insights. Kathleen likes to write about most topics but her work for children focuses on helping to instill a love of nature from an early age while teaching one or two things about camping.
