"""""David Novak has been hugely influential in at least two areas: natural law and Catholic-Jewish dialogue. This collection is a fitting celebration of Novak's contributions--but it is more. It advances some of the most important issues through Roman Catholic specialist respondents to Novak, followed by his own always stimulating reply and comments. It is a banquet, to be savored and enjoyed."""" --Gavin D'Costa, University of Bristol """"The subject of interreligious dialogue is one of the most important and compelling topics of our day. Yet frequently the tenor of such discussions can be far too superficial. David Novak's work on this subject has been anything but that and the writers assembled in this volume maintain that very high standard. This book will be necessary reading for anyone interested in Jewish-Christian dialogue."""" --Gary A. Anderson, University of Notre Dame"
