Author Information

Brinda Shah, PharmD, is a Registered Pharmacist working in the field of medical education, currently as President of the consulting firm, Advanced Knowledge Concepts, Inc. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy in 1992, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with a minor in Biochemistry. She has extensive experience in pharmacy consulting, long term care, and home infusion therapy. Jennifer Gibson is a pharmacist and freelance medical writer, editor, and lecturer. Jennifer is a graduate of Clemson University and earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work in several fields, including the pharmaceutical industry, medical education, genomics research and DNA sequencing, and the non-profit sector.
