Building on the premise that all creatures have unique and special qualities, the That's not my ... series gives toddlers the chance to identify all those special characteristics. With a range of different textures to stroke and prod, this interactive book encourages sensory and language skills as toddlers use their discretion to dismiss a number of pretenders before identifying their own special character with the triumphant finale. * Junior Magazine * The large pictures and repetitive words are great for small children to feel confident about books. The feely section of each page is a real bonus too. * Practical Parenting * A valuable and enjoyable learning tool * Junior Parenting * Building on the premise that all creatures have unique and special qualities, the That's not my ... series gives toddlers the chance to identify all those special characteristics. To celebrate, Usborne is publishing a special edition of the very first book! 'That's not my puppy' is a delightful touchy-feely book with simple, repetitive text. Helps very young children develop language and sensory skills. * Bizziebaby.co.uk * It was especially loved by the younger children. It was easy to read and the children were able to repeat the main words. The book has touchy-feely sections, which the children enjoyed finding and touching. This also became a game of Who can find the touchy bit? * Nursery Education PLUS * Eye catching solid and bright. Both my children loved this book. Daisy who is just one found the chunky pages really easy to manage and turn over. Scarlet who is two also enjoyed the book and because it has a very simple theme was able to understand and take part and ask questions. It encourages the child to feel parts of the puppy and make observations. I give this book top marks. * Bizziebaby.co.uk - customer review * The large pictures and repetitive words are great for small children to feel confident about books.
