Currently she is a PhD candidate at the Department of Applied Linguistics of the Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain) as a member of the CAMILLE Research Group thanks to a grant awarded by the Universitat Politècnica de València. She is doing research in telecollaboration for the acquisition of pragmatic competence and intercultural communicative competence. Sofia has published both in national and international books such as Estudios de Lingüística Aplicada IV (Cazevieille et al., 2020), CALL and professionalisation: short papers from EUROCALL (Zoghlami et al., 2021) and Intercultural Communication and Ubiquitous Learning in Multimodal English Language Education (García-Sánchez & Clouet, 2022), among others.
