Author Information

Deborah Lake is a retired clinical psychologist with 40 years of experience with other professionals in pediatric outpatient clinics, mental health and public health services, and public school systems. She has held faculty positions at the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Manitoba. Krista Baerg is a consultant pediatrician and associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Saskatchewan. Her clinical interests include interdisciplinary practice, patient- and family-centered care, pain management, and quality improvement. She completed her BScMed and MD as well as her specialty training in pediatrics at the University of Saskatchewan. Teresa Paslawski is a faculty member in the School of Rehabilitation Science, Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Saskatchewan. She is a speech language pathologist with a PhD is in Neuroscience (Psychiatry). Teresa has taught in speech language pathology programs at the University of Alberta and Washington State University and has worked clinically in acute and outpatient rehabilitation and acute care.
