Overview

Tierra A. Kendrick, a Commissioned Officer in the United States Army, is a Memphis, Tennessee, native who graduated from Middle Tennessee State University. Her life experiences along with her passion for world progression and the well-being of others has led to her growth in advocating for education and human rights. As an initiative of the International Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence Prevention Campaign (ISADVPC), and in collaboration with Kendrick-Reid Media, Ms. Kendrick takes a simple, proactive approach to educate boys and young men about what acts under the law, constitute sexual assault and domestic violence. Likely the first book that attempts to reprogram boys and young men between the ages of 12-24 about the perils and consequences of sexual assault and domestic violence, she has collaborated with ISADVPC to teach them the dangers of noncompliance. #TeachOurBoys is an investment for every parent to be proactive in circumventing their sons' involvement in sexual assault and domestic violence. After reading this book, they will know that there are consequences for every action. For instance, they will learn how having sex with a female who has been drinking is a form of sexual assault because she is unable to give consent while under the influence.
