Author Information

Heather Hollis is an educator who believes every classroom should be a place where laughter and joy are commonplace. A teacher with more than 20 years experience, Heather earned her bachelor degrees at the University of New Brunswick and a master's degree in Literacy from Mount Saint Vincent University. Her humorous blog, Suburban Princess Teacher, has struck a nerve with teachers around the world and has been viewed more than a quarter of a million times. Heather is currently working as a Learning Centre teacher in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, where she lives with her husband Kevin, her two (almost) grown-up boys, Jake and Noah, and her wild and crazy dog, Luna.
