Author Information

Coming soon... Emily Ellet is a SAG/AFTRA actor, singer, and audiobook narrator based in New York City. She has recorded over 200 audiobooks in every conceivable genre. She is a MAC Award-nominated and critically praised cabaret singer and the winner of the 2017 MetroStar Talent Challenge cabaret competition at the Metropolitan Room in New York City. She has also appeared off-Broadway, on cruise ships, and at regional theaters across the country. Brian Holden grew up in Traverse City, Michigan, went to college in Ann Arbor, and lived in Los Angeles just long enough to forever hate the winters in Chicago. In addition to running his theater company, StarKid Productions, he performs improv comedy. But no, he can't tell you a joke. Only by responding truthfully in the moment is he absolutely hilarious. He loves reading and is happy that he's gotten to lend his voice to some great stories so far. The Teach Like a Champion Team is part of Uncommon Schools' commitment to share what we have learned about enabling all students, particularly those not born to privilege, to achieve at dramatically higher levels.
